We are now in Cambria, the contrast to Santa Barbara is undefinable. It is much cooler, with a strong northerly breeze. The views are stunning, waves crashing onto the cliffs, the sun shining off the sea, sea birds, sand hoppers, kites, seaweed, driftwood all add up to make this a beautiful place. We loved Santa Barbara and are all planning on returning. It is difficult to sum it up but it is best described as perfection. It is one of the few places I have been to that appears to have it all. Sun, sand, sailing, history, great restaurants, fantastic shops, 300 tennis courts, polo fields, a pier, great cycling, friendly people etc. the list really does go on. It certainly puts Bradford into perspective! Tomorrow we visit Hearst Castle, I can’t wait.
