Everest Mountainbike challenge!! Here in Ilkley on 9th APRIL

WHAT? I will be attempting to climb the equivalent height of Mount Everest on my mountain bike. That’s a whopping 8848mts of climbing over 105 miles on the same slope.

WHERE? The challenge will start and finish at the Millennium Gardens, Wells Road in Ilkley. I will be cycling up and down Keighley Gate road 49 times!

WHEN? Saturday April 9th starting at 5:30am it should take between 12-15 hours I will be up and down the same slope all day so please come and cheer us on!

WHY? I am raising money for Raleigh Nepal to help with their efforts in some of the areas hardest hit by the earthquake last year.

WHO? I am hoping not to have to tackle this on my own! if you have a bike and fancy joining me for the whole event, or even just one or two ascents then please come along. If you need to borrow a bike then please speak to Adam at Ilkley cycles who have kindly offered to support me on this event.

TEA and CAKES, if watching me suffer isn’t enough to get you along then please come for the tea and cakes that will be on offer (for a small donation)

Please feel free to share this page.

If you haven’t done so already please support me by visiting my just giving page.
